This past weekend I went with Edith to visit her mother in the Poconos. I had never been before and it was really beautiful. I’m looking forward to going back a good amount for hiking, swimming and biking.
For one week each year, I am told, caterpillars descend upon the area and infest everything. We were lucky enough to arrive right in the middle of this creepy crawliness. So instead of taking photos of the really nice, beautiful things I saw there, here are a couple shots of some kamikaze caterpillars. We had to be careful all weekend not to walk into them as they dropped from the trees on their silk threads.
