Traveller Companion is a toolkit for the Traveller RPG (Mongoose 2022 edition), built for iPad and iPhone. Everything is stored on your device — no accounts, no subscriptions.

STAR MAP

Explore the charted galaxy with a live map powered by travellermap.com. Search any world, decode its Universal World Profile, see trade codes, highlight jump ranges, and plot the quickest route between worlds. Chart planets and save routes for easy recall in the Star Atlas, or jump straight to a world’s Traveller Wiki entry. Eight map styles, multiple eras, and a 24-hour cache so charted space stays available offline.

CHARACTERS

Create Travellers with the full guided lifepath or fill in a blank sheet by hand. The print-styled sheet covers characteristics, skills, careers, finances, weapons, armor, augments, equipment with carried-mass tracking, contacts, wounds, portraits and notes. And now the sheet rolls: tap any skill or characteristic and the dice roller preloads the DM, with the characteristic pairing yours to pick.

NPCS

Need a patron, contact or crew member right now? The one-tap NPC generator rolls a complete character — species, career, skills, quirk, motivation, weapons, armor, gear and cash on hand — into a compact dossier. Reroll until they feel right, or promote an NPC to a full editable Traveller.

SHIPS, VEHICLES & ROBOTS

Ship sheets with ready-to-apply ship classes and annotatable deck plans. Vehicle sheets in an easy to create format. Robot sheets with catalogue robots — or design your own with a custom robot worksheet: chassis, locomotion, brains, options and skill packages, with every cost and slot derived for you.

CAMPAIGN

Keep travel logs with formatted notes, and link everything together — characters, ships, vehicles, robots and logs all cross-reference. Export any sheet to a printable PDF. Share individual files with other devices; shared characters stay read-only for the recipient. Back up the whole device to a single file, or move everything to a new device.

TRADE

Run the complete trade rules between any two worlds. Roll the passenger, freight and mail boards, buy speculative cargo, and find buyers at your destination — every roll prints its arithmetic in the open. World traits and crew skills become editable modifiers, cargo lots persist on your ship’s manifest, and deals can move real credits on a linked Traveller or stay in simulation. You can even roll up exactly who booked passage aboard.

TOOLS

A slide-out ship’s console available anywhere — complete with boot-up sequence: dice roller with Boon/Bane, task-check results, dice sounds and haptics, and a session roll history; jump planner; world-profile decoder; backup and transfer; and appearance settings with six accent colors plus light and dark mode.
