Mr. Doug Nash, one of my best buddies, is getting married. It is my great honor to have been asked to be one of his groomsmen and as part of my groomsmanly duties, this past weekend I helped in the process of finding him some swanky duds for the big day. This was a particular challenge when you consider that he doesn’t own a single suit, let along worn one in the past decade or so. All in all though, I believe it was a success. Just finished editing and uploading another video from the recent Rusted Hero show at The Bitter End. We played a cover of Jumpin’ Jack Flash as our encore. I’d also like to point out that the encore was legit audience demanded (not a lame, pre-planned encore…there is nothing quite so self indulgent and obnoxious). Over the holiday weekend I met up with Dan and we launched his site! Check it out: DanBelcher.com. So killer. We are going to be adding a bunch more stuff to the portfolio and adding in some paypal shopping options so people can order paintings through the site too. Check back for that. It’s a funny thing about creating something: the end result often ends up being very different than how you intended it to. Sometimes the materials just end up shaping themselves and it almost feels out of your hands entirely. Back in New York. Trip was awesome and I’m really not quite ready to be back. Definitely would rather be out on Route 1 exploring with Edy. Oh well…that’s the nature of vacations I guess: if you aren’t somewhat sad to be home afterwords, it wasn’t a great trip. Now on to the good stuff.
