Just finished editing and uploading another video from the recent Rusted Hero show at The Bitter End. We played a cover of Jumpin’ Jack Flash as our encore. I’d also like to point out that the encore was legit audience demanded (not a lame, pre-planned encore…there is nothing quite so self indulgent and obnoxious). Shout out to Andrew Testa and Brandon Jones for shooting the video!
Over the holiday weekend I met up with Dan and we launched his site! Check it out: DanBelcher.com. So killer. We are going to be adding a bunch more stuff to the portfolio and adding in some paypal shopping options so people can order paintings through the site too. Check back for that. Dan also knocked out the next stage of my half sleeve. I couldn’t be more psyched with how awesome the tiger came out. ROAR! And in Rusted Hero news, we recently played at The Bitter End, which was huge for us. Great turn out, awesome time all…
I recently caught Joe Fletcher & the Wrong Reasons at Maxwell’s in NJ. They were opening for The Devil Makes Three, who were also awesome, but for my money, Joe Fletcher was the better of the two. (I’m going to catch a lot of shit for that statement). If you dig rootsy southern country folk music in the vein of Steve Earle, Johnny Cash, Robert Earl Keen, Justin Townes Earle, Guy Clark, etc, you will definitely like Joe Fletcher & the Wrong Reasons. Their new album, White Lighter, is available to download free (and legally!) HERE. If you are reading…
This video has been making the rounds on ye olde interwebs lately. Props to George Lambros and his blazing digits of tapping fury.
As the title of this post suggests, I, much like Garth Algar, enjoy playing music. This is probably the creative outlet I find most satisfying. I currently play in Rusted Hero. We play rock music and it’s fun as hell. The other guys in the band are immensely talented and often leave me wondering why I even pretend to be in their league. Here are a couple videos from our most recent show. The show was shot and edited by Micheal Scicolone, a huge supporter and all around stand-up dude. The sound quality isn’t the best in these, but that’s…
So I finally got around to redesigning my website. Killed the old Flash one, because…well…F Flash. Seriously. Can’t wait till that has finished its death throes and finally been buried. Also finally taught myself how to install and use WordPress. I know, I know…it’s about damn time. So yeah, got some interesting web projects in the works. Leah Jung and The Herzog Law Group are both in desperate need of new websites so those are in the pipeline. Friday night I photographed The Dana Fuchs Band at the Emelin Theatre. Fun rock n’ roll show. She’s a total Janis Joplin…
